Dairy-Free Christmas Herb Cheese
Ingredients
- 75g (3oz) unsalted cashew nuts
- 150ml (5oz) plant milk
- 4 tbsp corn starch
- 3 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp garlic powder
Herbs
- Herbs de Provence (thyme, basil, rosemary, tarragon, savory, oregano, marjoram)
Preparation
Add all cashew cheese ingredients into a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
Pour the mixture into a pan and heat up, stirring constantly, until it turns into a thick paste.
Transfer the paste into a suitable container and smooth it out.
Refrigerate for 1 hour.
Sprinkle herbs de Provence on a plate, then coat the cheese on all sides.
