Creamy Cherry Tomato Pasta Sauce

Ingredients

  • Olive oil
  • A bit of chopped onion
  • Garlic
  • A pint of cherry tomatoes
  • Fresh basil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Butter
  • Buttermilk
  • Cooked rigatoni
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Burrata cheese

Preparation

  1. Heat olive oil and sauté a bit of chopped onion and garlic.

  2. Add a pint of cherry tomatoes, cover, and let them soften.

  3. Gently press the tomatoes until saucy and add torn basil, salt, pepper, and butter.

  4. Splash in some buttermilk and blend until smooth.

  5. Stir in cooked rigatoni and plenty of Parmesan.

  6. Serve topped with burrata and a drizzle of olive oil.
