Banana Granola with Nuts and Seeds

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup quick oats
  • 1.5 cups rolled oats
  • Hazelnuts and almonds
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/3 teaspoon ground cloves (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1-2 ripe bananas
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup

Preparation

  1. Chop the nuts.

  2. Mix all the dry ingredients.

  3. Mash the banana and maple syrup using a hand blender.

  4. Mix everything together and spread on a baking tray.

  5. Bake at 190°C for 10 minutes.

  6. Stir the granola with a spoon to make smaller pieces and bake for another 10-20 minutes, depending on your oven.

  7. Check every 3-5 minutes to avoid burning.

  8. Let the granola cool and store it in a glass jar.
