High Protein Chocolate Salted Caramel Waffle
Ingredients
- 55g spelt or wholemeal flour
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp cacao powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 25g almond flour
- 30g vegan protein powder
- 1 cup of water (add more if too thick)
Preparation
In a bowl, whisk together spelt or wholemeal flour, chia seeds, cacao powder, baking powder, almond flour, and vegan protein powder.
Gradually add water while whisking to create a smooth batter. Let the batter rest for five minutes to thicken.
Preheat your waffle machine or waffle mold.
Pour the batter into the waffle machine or mold and cook for about 10 minutes or until the waffle is golden and crispy.
Once cooked, carefully remove the waffle from the machine or mold and place it on a serving plate.
