Simple Oat Scones
Ingredients
- 1.5 cups oat flour
- 1 cup regular flour
- 2 tsp coconut oil
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 big tbsp honey
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup oat milk
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 1 small egg
- Cardamom
- Cinnamon
- Almonds
Preparation
Melt coconut oil.
Mix up dry ingredients: oat flour, regular flour, baking powder, cardamom, and cinnamon.
In a separate bowl, mix wet ingredients: honey, vanilla, oat milk, yogurt, and egg.
Add the melted coconut oil to the wet mixture and combine.
Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
Optionally, add chopped almonds to the dough.
If the dough is too wet, add more flour.
Shape the dough into a ball.
Flatten the dough on a baking sheet using your palm.
Divide the flattened dough into 6 pieces.
Bake at 190°C (375°F) for 18-22 minutes.
Let the scones cool.
