Easy Chocolate Cornflake Bars

Ingredients

Base

  • 1 cup chickpeas
  • 1 cup dates
  • 1 tbsp nut butter
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder

Cornflakes layer

  • 150g coconut cream
  • 30g coconut oil
  • 100g sugar
  • 1 cup cornflakes

Preparation

  1. Blend all the base ingredients together.

  2. Press the mixture into a lined loaf tin.

  3. Add the cornflakes layer ingredients except cornflakes to a small pot and cook on medium heat until it becomes thicker.

  4. Stir in the cornflakes.

  5. Spread the cornflakes mixture over the chocolate base.

  6. Refrigerate for a few hours.
