Simple Vegan Pizza
Ingredients
- 1 cup of cilantro
- 1 whole garlic bunch, peeled and coarsely chopped.
- 1 inch of ginger
- 1 inch of fresh turmeric.
- 1 tsp of salt.
- 1 medium yellow onion.
- 1 cup of butternut squash
- 1 cup of chopped carrots
- 1 cup of celery, chopped.
- pizza dough recipe:
- 1 cup of warm water
- 2 1/4 tsp of yeast
- 1 tbspn of coconut sugar.
- 2 1/2 cup of white flour.
- 1 tsp of salt
- 1 tsp of onion powder
- 1 tsp of garlic powder
- 1 tsp of italian spices
- 1 tsp of oregano dried.
- pour all the ingredients into a big pot.
- chedder cheese sauce
- 1 cup of chopped white potatoes
- 1 cup of carrots, chopped.
- 1/4 cup of nutritional yeast.
- 2 t of lemon juice.
Preparation
Pizza dough
Mix all together and leave for 10 minutes or until foamy
Pour all the ingredients into a big pot.
Chedder Cheese Sauce
Place inside a steamer bowl over a pot of boiling water. Place lid on top and let it simmer for 15 minutes. Set aside.
In a pan, sauté 1 small white onion with: a vegetable bouillon, 1/2 tsp of salt, 1/4 tsp of pepper, 1 tsp of onion and garlic powder, 1 tsp of coriander paste. Stir until fragrant. Set aside.
Place all the ingredients into the blender, including the steamed vegetables and blend until thick and creamy
Try it and adjust for seasonings
I sometimes add more lemon juice or garlic
Roll out your dough, spread on your marina sauce, add on your veggies of choice (zucchini slices, olive, peppers and chipotle spices are FAB!) and dollop your cheddar sauce
Place in a preheated oven at 350F for 14-15 mins
