Vegan Broccoli Pizza Base

Ingredients

  • 1 head broccoli, boiled n mashed n squeezed
  • ? 2/3 cup spelt flour
  • ? 1/4 tsp psyllium husk + dash of water (or use 1 tbsp flax)
  • ? 1 tsp baking powder
  • ? 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ? 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • ? nooch (to taste, maybe 1 tbsp)
  • ? s&p
  • ? almond milk (just a dash)
  • tomato basil sauce
  • ? vegan chorizo
  • ? roasted butternut squash
  • ? rocket salad

Preparation

  1. Boil the broccoli (or steam it) until soft (6-7 mins)

  2. Drain it and mash it with a potato masher

  3. Put it into the middle of a tea towel and squeeze out the water over a sink

  4. Place in a bowl with the other ingredients and mix

  5. Form a dough ball and roll out on a floured surface

  6. Bake for 20-25 mins, until golden

  7. Spread on your toppings and bake for 8 more minutes
