Coconut Caramel Chocolate Bars
Ingredients
Base
- 1 cup chickpeas
- 1 cup dates
- 2 tbsp coconut butter (or any nut butter)
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
Coconut caramel
- 150g coconut cream
- 30g coconut oil
- 100g sugar
Chocolate topping
- Chocolate
Preparation
Blend all the ingredients for the base.
Line a slice tray with baking paper and place the dough in it.
Add the coconut caramel ingredients to a small pot and cook on medium heat until it thickens.
Pour the caramel over the base, let it cool, and refrigerate for a few hours.
Melt the chocolate and pour it over the top.
Let it cool again and cut into bars.
