Coconut Caramel Chocolate Bars

Ingredients

Base

  • 1 cup chickpeas
  • 1 cup dates
  • 2 tbsp coconut butter (or any nut butter)
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder

Coconut caramel

  • 150g coconut cream
  • 30g coconut oil
  • 100g sugar

Chocolate topping

  • Chocolate

Preparation

  1. Blend all the ingredients for the base.

  2. Line a slice tray with baking paper and place the dough in it.

  3. Add the coconut caramel ingredients to a small pot and cook on medium heat until it thickens.

  4. Pour the caramel over the base, let it cool, and refrigerate for a few hours.

  5. Melt the chocolate and pour it over the top.

  6. Let it cool again and cut into bars.
