Tahini Choc Chip Cookes

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 4 tbsp maple syrup
  • 3/4 cup tahini
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • handful of dark chocolate, broken into chunks

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees

  2. Whisk flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl

  3. N a separate bowl beat butter and maple syrup until light and fluffy

  4. Add in tahini, then add the dry ingredients slowly and stir until fully combined

  5. The mix will be slightly sticky

  6. Grease a baking tray and scoop out heaped tablespoons of the mix, roll into balls in your hands and place on the tray, spaced out

  7. Press a chunk of dark chocolate into the top of each ball

  8. Pop in the oven for approx 15 minutes, until cookies look slightly golden and firm
