Vegan Pecan Pesto Pasta

Ingredients

  • 200 g pasta
  • 100 g fresh basil
  • 80 ml extra virgin olive oil
  • 50 g pecans
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 120 ml cooking water

Preparation

  1. Cook pasta according to the manufacturer's instructions.

  2. Wash the basil leaves and separate the leaves from the stem.

  3. In a food processor, grind all ingredients until you get a sauce.

  4. Mix everything and enjoy.

Tips

  1. Always clean the basil with water as it may contain contaminants.
