Banana Bread Oatmeal with Caramelized Banana

Ingredients

  • Oats
  • Mylk (plant-based milk)
  • 1 mashed banana
  • Vanilla
  • Cinnamon
  • Cardamom

Caramelized banana

  • 1 heaped tablespoon vegan spread
  • 1 diced banana
  • 1 tablespoon sugar or stevia
  • 1 tablespoon orange juice, lime juice, or lemon juice

Toppings

  • Nuts

Preparation

  1. Make oats your regular way and add 1 mashed banana, some vanilla, cinnamon, and cardamom to the oats.

  2. For better results, make the oats with mylk instead of water.

  3. To make the caramelized banana, add 1 heaped tablespoon vegan spread into a frying pan and melt.

  4. Add 1 diced banana along with 1 tablespoon sugar or stevia and 1 tablespoon orange juice, lime juice, or lemon juice.

  5. Allow the banana to fry and caramelize.

  6. Top the oats with the caramelized banana as well as some nuts for crunch.
