Banana Bread Oatmeal with Caramelized Banana
Ingredients
- Oats
- Mylk (plant-based milk)
- 1 mashed banana
- Vanilla
- Cinnamon
- Cardamom
Caramelized banana
- 1 heaped tablespoon vegan spread
- 1 diced banana
- 1 tablespoon sugar or stevia
- 1 tablespoon orange juice, lime juice, or lemon juice
Toppings
- Nuts
Preparation
Make oats your regular way and add 1 mashed banana, some vanilla, cinnamon, and cardamom to the oats.
For better results, make the oats with mylk instead of water.
To make the caramelized banana, add 1 heaped tablespoon vegan spread into a frying pan and melt.
Add 1 diced banana along with 1 tablespoon sugar or stevia and 1 tablespoon orange juice, lime juice, or lemon juice.
Allow the banana to fry and caramelize.
Top the oats with the caramelized banana as well as some nuts for crunch.
