Caramelized Banana Toast Breakfast
Ingredients
- 1 banana
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp vanilla
For toast
- 2 pieces of toast
- peanut butter
- coconut shreds
Preparation
Slice the banana into thick slices about 1/4 inch thick to make flipping easier.
Add the coconut oil, maple syrup, cinnamon, and vanilla to a pan and mix them well.
Add the banana slices to the pan, leaving enough space between them so they do not stick together.
Cook the banana slices for 3-5 minutes on each side, flipping when they have caramelized to your liking.
Check the bananas by gently lifting with a fork to see how far they have cooked.
Slice and toast the bread.
Spread peanut butter on the toasted bread.
Add the caramelized banana slices on top.
Sprinkle with coconut shreds to finish.
