Caramelized Banana and Peanut Butter Toast
Ingredients
- 1 banana
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp vanilla
For toast
- 2 pieces of toast
- peanut butter
- coconut shreds
Preparation
Slice the banana into thick slices, about 1/4 inch thick.
Add coconut oil, maple syrup, cinnamon, and vanilla to a pan and mix them well.
Add the banana slices to the pan, leaving enough space between them to avoid sticking.
Cook the banana slices for 3-5 minutes on each side, flipping when caramelized to your liking.
Slice and toast the bread and add the peanut butter.
Add the caramelized banana slices on top.
Sprinkle with coconut shreds to serve.
