Peanut Butter Granola Banana Toast
Ingredients
- 1 firm banana
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- Peanut butter
- Granola
- Bread
Preparation
Heat coconut oil in a well-seasoned cast iron or nonstick pan.
Add the banana and dust cinnamon over both sides.
Flip every few seconds to avoid burning.
Toast the bread until golden.
Spread peanut butter on the toast.
Sprinkle granola on top.
Add the caramelized bananas and serve.
Tips
Caramelize bananas for extra flavor and texture; they become sweeter and smoky.
Use firm bananas to prevent them from becoming mushy in the pan.
