Single Serve Lotus Biscoff Cinnamon Roll

Ingredients

  • 35g (2 tablespoons + 1 teaspoon) applesauce
  • 4g (about 1/2 teaspoon) maple syrup
  • 70g (1/2 cup + 1 tablespoon) whole wheat flour
  • 15ml (1 tablespoon) almond milk
  • 3g (3/4 teaspoon) baking powder

Filling

  • Maple syrup
  • Ground cinnamon
  • Lotus biscoff

Preparation

  1. Mix the dough ingredients together to form a soft dough

  2. Prepare the filling by combining maple syrup, ground cinnamon, and crushed lotus biscoff in a small bowl

  3. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle

  4. Spread the filling evenly over the dough

  5. Roll up the dough tightly and slice into one or more rolls

  6. Place the roll(s) in a baking dish and bake at 180°C for 15 minutes
