Cajun Cauliflower Wings with Guacamole
Ingredients
- 1 cauliflower (cut into florets)
- 1 cup wholemeal flour
- 1 cup plant milk (unsweetened) or beer
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp pink/sea salt
- Black pepper
- Olive oil (optional, for drizzling)
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).
Cut the cauliflower into florets (not too small) and set them aside.
In a large bowl, mix together the wholemeal flour, garlic powder, Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
Pour in the plant milk or beer and whisk until you have a thick batter.
Add the cauliflower florets to the batter and use a spoon or your hands to coat each floret evenly.
On a baking tray lined with parchment paper, lay out the coated cauliflower florets, making sure they are not too close together.
Optional: Drizzle a little olive oil over the florets.
Bake in the center of the oven for 25-30 minutes or until the cauliflower wings are golden brown.
