Chai Spiced Bliss Balls
Ingredients
- 1 cup organic unsweetened desiccated coconut
- 1 cup favourite fodmap-friendly nuts & seeds
- 1/4 cup coconut or rice flour
- 3 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp ground allspice
- 1 tsp vanilla powder (or pure vanilla extract)
- pinch of himalayan salt
- 1/4 cup extra virgin coconut oil, liquid consistency
- 2 x 20ml tablespoons rice malt syrup
Preparation
Place the coconut and nuts/seeds in a food processor and process until you get fine crumbs. Add the flour, cinnamon, ginger, allspice and salt and process until combined
Now come the wet ingredients: add the vanilla, coconut oil and rice malt syrup and process until the mixture comes together like a dough
Roll the mixture into balls & allow to set in the fridge or freezer
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week
