Cinnamon Almond Butter Granola with Chocolate Chips and Raisins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups gluten free oats.
  • 1/2 cup raw walnuts
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1/4 cup almond butter
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup raisins (or choc chips)
  • 1 apple sauce cup unsweetened
  • 2-3 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 300. You will need a metal baking sheet pan

  2. Combine apple sauce and almond butter until fully combined. For a sweeter granola, sun apple sauce cup for maple syrup

  3. Combine all dry ingredients (except chocolate chips)

  4. Mix thoroughly the dry and wet ingredients

  5. S your hands to mix really well into clumpsPlace mixture on baking pan

  6. Ake for 10 minute increments make sure to gently mix together and put back in the oven

  7. Overall this took close to 30-40 minutes

  8. You will be able to tell by touch with granola is nice and crunchy and medium brown color

  9. If using chocolate chips sprinkle these on after the granola bakes
