Crispy Air Fryer Brussels Sprouts with Sticky Balsamic Glaze
Ingredients
- 1/2 kg Brussels sprouts, ends chopped & halved
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp fresh lime juice
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp maple syrup (optional)
Preparation
Preheat the Air Fryer to 200°C.
Place the Brussels sprouts in the Air Fryer basket, drizzle them with 1 tbsp olive oil, and sprinkle with salt. Cook for 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
Sprinkle the Brussels sprouts with minced garlic and cook for another 2 minutes.
In a small pan, add the balsamic vinegar and maple syrup. Simmer on low heat until it reaches a syrup-like consistency, stirring to avoid burning. Then, add the lime juice, soy sauce, and another tablespoon of olive oil (you can also try sesame oil if desired).
Remove the Brussels sprouts from the Air Fryer basket and transfer them to a bowl.
Pour the hot sticky sauce over the Brussels sprouts, coating them evenly.
Serve the Crispy Air Fryer Brussels Sprouts with Sticky Balsamic Glaze and enjoy!
