Delectable Salted Caramel Strawberry Breakfast Cake 🤩
Ingredients
- 2/3 cup flour (spelt flour used here)
- 1/2 cup strawberries
- 1/3 cup plant milk (or slightly more)
- 1/2 mashed banana
- 2 tbsp @unicornsuperfoods salted caramel protein powder
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp baking powder + a squeeze of lemon
For the Salted Caramel Sauce
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- Pinch of salt
- Water (to thin, if desired)
Preparation
Mix all the cake ingredients together.
Preheat the oven to 360°F (180°C).
Bake the cake mixture for about 20 minutes.
In the meantime, prepare the salted caramel sauce by mixing peanut butter, maple syrup, salt, and water (for desired consistency).
Once the cake is baked, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly.
Drizzle the salted caramel sauce over the cake.
