Easy Pecan Cinnamon Buns with Nutty Frosting
Ingredients
For the Buns
- 1 cup Self Raising Flour
- 1/2 cup Coconut Yoghurt
- 1 tbs Coconut Sugar
- 1 tbs Cinnamon
- Chopped Pecans to taste
For the Frosting
- 1/4 cup Coconut Yoghurt
- 1/4 cup Protein Powder (@macr0mike vanilla)
- 1 tbs Almond Butter (@macr0mike powdered AB)
- Pecans
Preparation
Preheat oven to 180°C.
In a bowl, combine the ingredients for the buns and stir until a thick dough forms. You may need to use your hands.
Divide the dough into equal parts and roll into balls.
Place the dough balls onto a baking tray and brush with non-dairy milk (optional).
Bake for 15-20 minutes.
In a separate bowl, stir together the ingredients for the frosting.
Once the buns have cooled, top them with the nutty frosting.
