Easy Pecan Cinnamon Buns with Nutty Frosting

Ingredients

For the Buns

  • 1 cup Self Raising Flour
  • 1/2 cup Coconut Yoghurt
  • 1 tbs Coconut Sugar
  • 1 tbs Cinnamon
  • Chopped Pecans to taste

For the Frosting

  • 1/4 cup Coconut Yoghurt
  • 1/4 cup Protein Powder (@macr0mike vanilla)
  • 1 tbs Almond Butter (@macr0mike powdered AB)
  • Pecans

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.

  2. In a bowl, combine the ingredients for the buns and stir until a thick dough forms. You may need to use your hands.

  3. Divide the dough into equal parts and roll into balls.

  4. Place the dough balls onto a baking tray and brush with non-dairy milk (optional).

  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes.

  6. In a separate bowl, stir together the ingredients for the frosting.

  7. Once the buns have cooled, top them with the nutty frosting.

  8. Enjoy these delicious and comforting cinnamon buns!
