Gooey Chocolate Pancakes with Organic Dark Chocolate & Hazelnut Spread

Ingredients

  • 130g plain flour (oat flour can be used as a substitute)
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 & 1/2 tbsp ground chia seeds
  • 500ml plant milk

Preparation

  1. In a large bowl, mix all the dry ingredients together, ensuring that the chia seeds are finely ground.

  2. Add the plant milk to the dry ingredients and stir vigorously. The mixture will become gloopy, but it should be thin enough to be spooned out without sticking together.

  3. Heat a non-stick frying pan with a little oil.

  4. Pour enough pancake batter into the pan to cover it, using the back of a spoon to spread it evenly.

  5. Cook the pancake on medium heat for 4-5 minutes, taking care not to burn it. Then, flip the pancake and repeat on the other side.

  6. Serve the pancakes warm, filled with organic dark chocolate and hazelnut spread.
