Meatball Pasta Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 pack of meatballs (i used the frozen ones from sainsbury’s)
  • 2 heaped tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp chilli flakes
  • 1 stock cube
  • 400g tomato passata
  • 7 tbsp plant milk (i used soya today)
  • black pepper

Preparation

  1. Cook the meatballs according to the pack instructions (mine were oven baked)

  2. Grab a frying pan and pop it on a high heat. Add the onion and fry for five minutes

  3. Add the garlic, herbs, stock cubeand spices and fry for another minute

  4. Add all the remaining ingredients and mix together. Leave to simmer on a low to medium heat until the sauce has thickened up

  5. Once the meatballs are cooked, stir in and then serve. (If your sauce is too thick, add a touch more milk)
