Oil Free Double Fudge Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1 for banana, mashed
  • 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup dairy free milk
  • 1/3 cup creamy almond butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup lucuma (see note below) or coconut sugar
  • 1/4 cup protein powder of choice
  • 2 tbsp cacao or cocoa powder (i used @yoursuperfoods chocolate lovers)
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips, divided
  • i used @santabarbarachocolate )
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp pink sea salt

Preparation

  1. Mix flax egg and mashed banana in a large bowl

  2. Add maple, vanilla, almond butter, and milk and mix until creamy

  3. Stir in dry ingredients except chips, until batter forms, it will be creamy batter

  4. Fold in 1/2 of the chocolate chips

  5. Pour into a 8x8 or 8x4 tray, lined

  6. Bake at 350 for 17-20 minutes
