Oil-Free Double Fudge Brownies
Ingredients
- 2 flax eggs (2 tbsp flax meal mixed with 4 tbsp water)
- 1 banana, mashed
- 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
- 1/4 cup dairy free milk
- 1/3 cup creamy almond butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup Lucuma or coconut sugar
- 1/4 cup protein powder of choice
- 2 tbsp cacao or cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips, divided
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp pink sea salt
Preparation
Prepare flax eggs by mixing 2 tablespoons flax meal with 4 tablespoons water and let sit for a few minutes to thicken
Mash the banana
Mix flax egg and mashed banana in a large bowl.
Add maple, vanilla, almond butter, and milk and mix until creamy.
Stir in dry ingredients except chips, until batter forms; it will be creamy batter.
Fold in half of the chocolate chips.
Pour into an 8x8 or 8x4 tray that is lined.
Bake at 350 degrees for 17-20 minutes.
