Own #Nutmilk

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of #almonds overnight
  • h 2-4 cups of water

Preparation

  1. Soak 1 cup of #almonds overnight in a lot of water – they expand as they soak up water. Why soak them? They release phytic acid when you soak them in water which will make them easier to digest – and make more nutrients available to your body

  2. In the morning, rinse the nuts. Throw them in a blender with 2-4 cups of water (depending on how creamy you want your nutmilk – use less water for more creamy). Blend on high speed for 30-60 seconds

  3. Pour through a strainer and use a spoon to stir to get all the milk through the strainer

  4. Enjoy
