Spicy Baked Buffalo Mac and Cheese
Ingredients
- 6 cups shells (of choice)
For the Buffalo Cheese Sauce
- 1 1/2 cups cashews
- 2 cups almond milk
- 3/4 cup nutritional yeast
- 1 cup buffalo sauce
- 3 tsp garlic
- 2 tsp paprika
- Sprinkle of salt
For the Topping
- 1 1/2 cups almond flour
- 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 1/2 tsp garlic
- 1 tsp sea salt
Preparation
Soak the cashews for at least 4 hours.
In a blender, combine the soaked cashews with all the sauce ingredients. Blend until smooth.
Cook the pasta according to package instructions.
In a bowl, mix together the topping ingredients.
Grease a large casserole dish.
Add the cooked pasta to the casserole dish. Pour the sauce over the pasta and mix well.
Sprinkle the prepared topping over the pasta.
Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 20 minutes.
Remove from the oven, let it cool slightly, and enjoy!
