Superfood Reishi Hot Cocoa with Marshmallows

Ingredients

  • 3 cups cashew or nondairy milk
  • 2 tbsp Botanica Health Reishi Hot Chocolate
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 tsp maca powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp dark (vegan) chocolate chips
  • Pinch of salt
  • Marshmallows (as many as you like)

Preparation

  1. In a small pot on the stove over medium-high heat, combine the cashew or nondairy milk, Botanica Health Reishi Hot Chocolate, cacao powder, cinnamon, maca powder, and maple syrup. Whisk together until well combined.

  2. Add the dark chocolate chips and a pinch of salt to the pot. Whisk again.

  3. Heat the mixture until small bubbles start to appear and the chocolate chips have melted, whisking often.

  4. Transfer the hot cocoa to warmed mugs.

  5. Add marshmallows to the mugs, as many as you like.

  6. Enjoy your superfood Reishi hot cocoa with marshmallows!
