Yummy Ackee and Pasta Bowl

Ingredients

  • Sundried Tomatoes •Roasted Peppers,but regular Peppers wok
  • •Onions •Spring Onion to Garnish
  • •Pasta
  • •Garlic •Paprika •Black Pepper
  • •Dried Corriander
  • •A small handful of fresh thyme
  • •Thyme, dried
  • •A small amount of scotch bonnet pepper

Preparation

  1. Boil any pasta of your choice

  2. In a fairly large pan, add a drizzle of cooking oil

  3. Add your chopped onions in, along with the garlic

  4. Next add sundried tomatoes, peppers, salt, paprika, coriander, fresh and dried thyme

  5. Let this cook down for a bit, and then add a little bit of scotch bonnet pepper

  6. Avoiding the seeds at all cost! haha unless you like the spice then hey, each to his own

  7. Next add your ackee and mix with the other ingredients

  8. Leave for a few minutes so it can soak up the flavours

  9. Then add your cooked and drained pasta into your pan with the ackee and mix well

  10. Finally serve and enjoy!
