Paleo Buffalo Baked Chicken Tenders

Ingredients

  • 7-8 chicken tenders
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup hot sauce

Preparation

  1. In two shallow bowls, whisk the egg in one and mix the almond flour with the spices in the other. Set the hot sauce aside for later.

  2. Preheat the oven to 425°F.

  3. For each chicken tender, coat it completely in the egg, then dip it in the almond flour mixture, ensuring full coverage. You may need to dip it multiple times, then place it on a greased baking sheet or one lined with foil.

  4. Repeat the coating process for all chicken tenders.

  5. Bake for 12 minutes, then flip and bake for an additional 10 minutes.

  6. Allow them to cool for a few minutes, then brush with hot sauce on one side, flip, and brush the other side. Enjoy.
