Easy Korean Marinated Tofu Dish

Ingredients

  • 1 package plain tofu or tempeh
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce or tamari (for gluten-free option)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp gochugaru Korean chili powder/flakes
  • 2 green onion tips, washed
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds

Preparation

  1. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, sesame oil, maple syrup, gochugaru and half the green onion tips.

  2. Open up the package of tofu and cut into bite-sized pieces or cubes.

  3. Put the tofu on a plate and pour the sauce on top.

  4. Top with the rest of the green onions and sesame seeds.

  5. Enjoy with rice!
