Raw Rich Chocolate Truffles

Ingredients

Chocolate truffle filling

  • 3-4 small ripe Avocados
  • 1/4 tsp Sea Salt
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened Almond Milk
  • 1 tsp pure Vanilla Extract
  • 4 tbsp pure maple or rice malt syrup
  • 4-5 drops of pure stevia
  • 1/2 cup raw cacao powder

Chocolate coating

  • 1 cup coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup raw cacao powder
  • 1/2 cup pure maple or rice malt syrup

Preparation

  1. Blend the filling ingredients until smooth.

  2. Form the mixture into small balls.

  3. Mix the coating ingredients until well combined.

  4. Dip each ball into the coating.

  5. Place on a tray and freeze or chill until set.

Tips

  1. These truffles contain high levels of tryptophan and healthy fats, important for brain function and cell membrane health.

  2. In summer, freeze them for a ganache-like ice cream texture that melts in the mouth.

  3. Consume in moderation as natural sweeteners may trigger IBS symptoms in sensitive individuals.
