Açaí Bowls

Ingredients

  • milk; about 1/4-1/3 cup
  • frozen açaí
  • 1/2 cup frozen berries

Preparation

  1. Normally you would only eat one so take that banana, cut it in half and put it in your blender. Keep the other half for topping. Instead of using extra banana, add frozen mangoes to your açaí bowl. It will make it creamy as well. I usually add 1/2 cup. And normally I also do 1/2 cup frozen berries for antioxidants and colors. Berries are also lower in sugar so it’s good to balance fruit sugar.. I usually do just a bit of milk; about 1/4-1/3 cup, homemade, with the frozen açaí pulp bag that is broken down into pieces. Use your high-speed blender to blend all until smooth, pour into a bowl and add your fav toppings??✌️

  2. Great nutritious breakfast, I like to add a tablespoon of almond butter and more superfoods. My son loves it too! Great for kids (with their toppings of choice)
