Chickpea Bagels
Ingredients
- 3/4c garbanzo bean flour
- 1 flax egg (1t flax seeds + 3t water) .
- 1/2 medium carrot (grated) .
- 1t nutritional yeast .
- 1tsp baking powder
- water and a pinch of salt
Preparation
Mix you flax egg and let it set in the fridge for 5-10min
In a medium bowl, add your dry ingredients and grated carrot
Once the flax egg is ready, add to dry mix with ~1/3-1/2c of water to create your dough
Spray your donut tray (or coat with oil), add your mixture, and bake for 8-10min @ 375°
Enjoy with your favorite toppings! I used cashew fiesta dip and 1 avocado for our bagels
