German Chocolate Cake Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 3 tblsp #cacao powder
  • 1 serving fav chocolate #proteinpowder
  • 1 tbsp coconut sugar
  • 1 date
  • 1 tsp #maca
  • 1/3 cup raw #pecans
  • 1 cup light coconut milk or other milk of choice
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Preparation

  1. Soak date in water 10 min until soft

  2. Then blend all the ingredients together in blender until smooth

  3. If you wish, you can top with shredded coconut flakes or toasted coconut

  4. There are several brands and flavors of toasted coconut on the market

  5. We used carmel sea salt coconut chips

  6. For fun, you can put the glass container you are using for your smoothie in the freezer for at least 20 minutes

  7. Then dip it in melted chocolate or chocolate sauce of your choice and quickly dip it in a combo of crushed pecans and toasted coconut

  8. It will freeze to the glass and create a cool effect

  9. You can shave some dark chocolate over the top if you wish
