Gluten-Free Baked Tofu Chicken Fingers
Ingredients
- 1 12 ounce package of tofu
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 1/4 cup tapioca flour
Breading mixture
- 3/4 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Buffalo topping
- 1 cup buffalo sauce
Preparation
Press the tofu and cut into 8 strips.
In a shallow bowl, add the tapioca flour.
In another shallow bowl, add the almond milk.
Mix together the breading mixture in a bowl.
Dip each tofu strip in the tapioca flour, then the almond milk, and then the breading mixture.
Place the breaded tofu strips on a greased baking sheet.
Bake at 425°F for 40 minutes.
Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and brush with the buffalo sauce.
Serving suggestion
Serve with vegan ranch.
