Green Tea Apple Smoothie with Spinach and Chia
Ingredients
- 1 green apple, peeled and cored
- 1/2 cup freshly brewed green tea, cooled (made with 1 bag in 1/2 cup hot water; Matcha can be used instead)
- 1 big handful of spinach
- 1 wedge of lemon, squeezed
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds (or 1 scoop of favorite protein powder)
- 1/2 inch ginger, chopped
- 2 tablespoons yogurt (soy used)
- Big pinch of cardamom powder (optional if using cardamom green tea)
- 1/2 cup chilled almond milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preparation
Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until completely smooth. Enjoy!
