Raw Macaroon


  • 2 cups raw unsweetened coconut flakes (coconut is loaded with protein, fiber, zinc)!
  • 1/2 cup raw cacao powder (optional if you don't want chocolate macaroons)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp raw coconut sugar
  • 1/2 cup raw coconut nectar or maple syrup
  • pinch of sea salt


  1. Mix together all ingredients (leave coconut nectar or maple syrup out)

  2. Add the coconut nectar (or maple syrup) last and mix well until everything is well-combined

  3. Scoop a small amount into hands and roll into shape

  4. This step is a bit messy as the coconut nectar or maple syrup is sticky ?Place #macaroons into the freezer for a few hours

  5. Sprinkle with some extra coconut flakes and serve cold
