Raw Vegan Nut Meat for Tacos and Salads

Ingredients

  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1 cup mushrooms (Bella's work great but use what you like)
  • 1/2 sweet onion
  • 1 tablespoon nama shoyu or tamari (gluten free)
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1/8 teaspoon chipotle powder or cayenne (use more if preferred)

Preparation

  1. Place ingredients in food processor and pulse until coarse and chunky.

  2. Do not over blend to avoid it becoming a spread or pate-like consistency.

  3. Use on tacos, salads, or wraps.
