Raw Vegan Heavy Cream

Ingredients

  • 2 cups raw whole cashews
  • 1 cup almond milk or non-dairy milk of choice
  • 1/4 cup filtered water

Optional additions

  • Vanilla extract or maple syrup, to taste (for sweet)
  • Sea salt and lemon juice, to taste (for savory)

Preparation

  1. Soak cashews in a bowl submerged completely in cold water for 4-6 hours or overnight.

  2. Drain and transfer cashews to a food processor, magic bullet, or blender with the liquid ingredients, starting with half the liquid and adding more based upon desired thickness or creaminess.

  3. Process until smooth, adding more liquid if needed.
