Decadent Cherry Crêpes with Dark Chocolate Hazelnut Spread
Ingredients
- 120g plain flour (or gluten-free flour)
- 1 tsp ground chia or flax seeds
- 350ml milk
- 1/2 cup cherries (frozen or fresh)
- 1 tsp red food colouring (optional)
- Dark chocolate hazelnut spread
Preparation
Place all the ingredients into your blender and blend until you have a smooth liquid.
Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat with a little oil.
Pour some of the batter into the pan and tilt it to create a thin layer covering the base.
Cook for 2-3 minutes until the edges set and the bottom is lightly browned, then carefully flip the crêpe.
Cook the other side for about 2 minutes until golden.
Remove the crêpe from the pan and repeat the process with the remaining batter.
Fill each crêpe with a generous spread of dark chocolate hazelnut spread and the cherries.
Optionally, roll or fold the crêpes, and they're ready to be enjoyed!
