Decadent Cherry Crêpes with Dark Chocolate Hazelnut Spread

Ingredients

  • 120g plain flour (or gluten-free flour)
  • 1 tsp ground chia or flax seeds
  • 350ml milk
  • 1/2 cup cherries (frozen or fresh)
  • 1 tsp red food colouring (optional)
  • Dark chocolate hazelnut spread

Preparation

  1. Place all the ingredients into your blender and blend until you have a smooth liquid.

  2. Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat with a little oil.

  3. Pour some of the batter into the pan and tilt it to create a thin layer covering the base.

  4. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the edges set and the bottom is lightly browned, then carefully flip the crêpe.

  5. Cook the other side for about 2 minutes until golden.

  6. Remove the crêpe from the pan and repeat the process with the remaining batter.

  7. Fill each crêpe with a generous spread of dark chocolate hazelnut spread and the cherries.

  8. Optionally, roll or fold the crêpes, and they're ready to be enjoyed!
