Nutty Coconut Granola
Ingredients
- 200g oatmeal
- 100g spelt flakes
- 80g hazelnuts
- 80g almonds
- 1 cup of coconut flakes
- 50g flax seeds
- 5 tablespoons agave syrup
- 2 tbsp liquid coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
Preparation
Mix all the dry granola ingredients in a large bowl. Add the agave syrup and coconut oil. Mix with your hands until you get a crumbly texture with larger pieces.
Spread the granola mixture on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius (fan oven) for 15 to 20 minutes.
After 5-8 minutes of baking, turn the granola to ensure even baking of all seeds and grains.
After another 8-10 minutes, remove the granola from the oven. Let it cool and harden on the baking sheet.
Once the granola has cooled, add some white coconut flakes for a nice color contrast and enhanced flavor.
Store the cooled granola in a light and moisture-proof glass or container to maintain its freshness.
