Vanilla Chia Pudding with Cinnamon Fried Apples and Homemade Peanut Butter Granola
Ingredients
- 1.5 tbsp chia seeds
- 200 ml vanilla yogurt
- 1 apple
- Water
- Cinnamon
- Stevia (or sweetener of choice)
- Margarine (optional, for flavor)
- Peanut butter granola (homemade or store-bought)
- Nuts and seeds (optional)
- Oat crumble (optional)
Preparation
For the Vanilla Chia Seed Pudding
In a bowl, mix 1.5 tbsp of chia seeds with 200 ml of vanilla yogurt.
Stir well to combine, then let the mixture sit in the fridge. This makes one serving.
For the Cinnamon Fried Apples
Chop one apple into medium/small pieces.
In a frying pan, add the chopped apples and a splash of water.
Sprinkle cinnamon and stevia (or your chosen sweetener) over the apples.
Optional: Add a tablespoon of margarine for added flavor.
Fry the apples on medium heat until they become soft.
Assembling the Dish
In serving bowls or glasses, layer the prepared vanilla chia seed pudding.
Top the pudding with the cooked cinnamon fried apples.
