Chermoula - North African Flavored Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp paprika powder
- 2 tsp ground coriander powder
- 3 handfuls fresh cilantro
- Pinch of pepper
- Juice of 1/4 lemon
- 1 handful fresh parsley
- 6 tbsp olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves
Preparation
In a pan, fry the cumin, coriander powder, and paprika powder for about thirty seconds to release their flavors.
Transfer the fried spices to a food processor.
Add the rest of the ingredients (cilantro, salt, pepper, lemon juice, parsley, olive oil, and garlic cloves) to the food processor.
Process the ingredients until smooth, creating a flavorful Chermoula sauce.
Serve the Chermoula with a drizzle of olive oil and cumin seeds on top.
