Falafel Below

Ingredients

  • 1 x 400g can of chickpeas, drained
  • 1 small red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 10g fresh parley, finely chopped
  • 10g fresh coriander, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp rose harissa
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 50g gram flour
  • Juice of half a lemon

Preparation

  1. Put all ingredients into a food processor and blitz into a thick paste. Wet your hands (to stop sticking) and roll ping pong ball size balls

  2. Heat a non-stick frying pan on a medium to high heat and add a good drizzle of oil. Fry the falafel balls for 4 mins, turning and flipping until golden and cooked all over. Done
