Banana Date Smoothie with Cacao Nibs
Ingredients
- 2 cups frozen banana chunks
- 1 tsp vanilla bean extract
- 2 pitted dates
Toppings
- 1 tbsp raw cacao nibs
Preparation
Soak the 2 pitted dates in water for at least 2 hours and drain.
Optionally, add a dash of Ceylon cinnamon and/or nutmeg.
In a food processor, blend the soaked dates, 2 cups frozen banana chunks, and 1 tsp vanilla bean extract. Add water if the mixture is too thick.
Top the blended mixture with 1 tbsp raw cacao nibs.
