Banana Date Smoothie with Cacao Nibs

Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen banana chunks
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean extract
  • 2 pitted dates

Toppings

  • 1 tbsp raw cacao nibs

Preparation

  1. Soak the 2 pitted dates in water for at least 2 hours and drain.

  2. Optionally, add a dash of Ceylon cinnamon and/or nutmeg.

  3. In a food processor, blend the soaked dates, 2 cups frozen banana chunks, and 1 tsp vanilla bean extract. Add water if the mixture is too thick.

  4. Top the blended mixture with 1 tbsp raw cacao nibs.
