  • coconut water

Preparation

  1. Load up your smoothie with some veggies! veggies contain fiber, vitamins + minerals, but also add volume without adding too much sugar from fruit or other sources! ?my favorite veg in smoothies include chopped cauliflower, zucchini slices, and spinach. other veg include beet greens or other random leafy greens that gotta go ? this way you reduce food waste AND reap the benefits of those greens ??

  2. Add protein powder or collagen to an otherwise protein-less smoothie. protein powder can help balance out your smoothie and help keep you full for longer! ?

  3. Add healthy fats: these are any nut butters ?, avocado ?, seeds (chia, flax, hemp, etc.), or even yogurt! the addition of fats can help keep you full for longer and make your smoothie more satiating

  4. Try using coconut water ? as your liquid! it is so hydrating (and tasty!) and provided potassium! there's a reason coconut water is deemed
