Broccoli and Walnut Sauté

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1 medium head broccoli, cut into small florets
  • 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes

Preparation

  1. Heat the oil in a wide skillet over medium heat.

  2. Add the onion, garlic, and walnuts. Stir with a wooden spoon for several minutes until the onion is light golden.

  3. Add the broccoli, vinegar, salt, and chili. Stir for 5 minutes only.

  4. Pour the broccoli into a wide serving dish and serve immediately with chicken or grilled steak.
