Spicy Roasted Cauliflower Steaks
Ingredients
- 1 head cauliflower
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 garlic clove minced
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- chili flakes, to taste
- salt and pepper, to taste
Preparation
Remove the leaves from the cauliflower and steam it for 10 minutes until tender. You can skip steaming if you want crunchy steaks.
Cut the cauliflower head into steaks.
Preheat oven to 180C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
In a small bowl combine olive oil, honey or maple syrup, lemon juice, garlic, smoked paprika, and chili flakes.
Brush the steaks on both sides and arrange on the prepared baking tray.
Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve with mushroom stroganoff.
